Located northeast of Oceanside just off Highway 76 Bonsall is home to approximately 3,400 people encompasses approximately 32.8 square miles, or approximately 21,042 acres. It is located in the foothills of the Penninsular Mountain Range in the unincorporated area of northern San Diego County. Just a short drive takes you to the white sandy beaches and the longest wooden pier on the West Coast in Oceanside. Activities include swimming, sunning, surfing, sailing, fishing off the pier and deep-sea fishing, hiking and biking that go all the way from Oceanside to San Clemente.
